Hello my friend. My name is Gabi Ruth, and this is Pain to Passion Live. Has life knocked you down a few too many times? Have you experienced something deeply painful in your life? If you're listening to this show, my guess is you probably have. And I'm so, so sorry for the things that you have experienced that have caused you such pain, but I want you to know my friend, that I also know that you were created on purpose for a purpose and that our God does not let anything go to waste.

So I want to encourage you with my story and with the stories of the people that I will be interviewing on this show that your purpose is not finished and that your life is not over because you've experienced pain. In fact, I've seen it time and time again. The very thing that has been attacked in people's lives becomes the thing that becomes the most powerful.

It becomes the voice that they. To give something back to the world that is extraordinary, that is needed, that is healing. So I want you to be encouraged, my friend, that whatever pain that you have been through, whatever pain that you have experienced, something about that will be something that you will be able to give back to the world and use, not just for your healing, but for the healing of those around.

I wanna share with you one of my very favorite scriptures. It's second Corinthians four versus 16 through 18. It says, So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day for this light and momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison as we look, not to the things that are seen, but to the things that are unseen for.

The things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. This is a promise that these painful things that we experience in this life, it's not the end for us. And there's an eternal impact that is going to happen through your life. Not in spite of the pain, but also because of the pain, because God does not waste anything, my friend.

I would not want you or anyone else to have to go through again what you have been. And again, I'm so sorry for what you've experienced. There's darkness in this world, there's no doubt about it. However, you serve a God of light and you serve a God of resurrection and restoration. So let my story and let these stories fill your heart with courage to know that your pain is not for nothing, and that you still have a voice and you have something beautiful to give back to this world.
